New York Fashion Week Has Begun! Here Are The 10 NYFW Beauty Matters Getting Us Most Excited This Morning

The Grazia beauty bags are packed, the passport is safely tucked away in our cheeky new Celine and we are praying that our bag isn’t over the weight limit, because even though we managed to fit our beauty products into five makeup bags (as opposed to last season’s seven), the suitcase still ended up being rather on the heavy side.  That’s right ladies, we’re off to a very snowy New York, where we will be going backstage at all the biggest and best shows, reporting on what’s hot and what’s not for Autumn Winter 2013.  In our (considerable) excitement this morning we’ve been chatting about what we’re most looking forward to over the next four days.  Check it out...

1. Seeing Cara!

Last season the charming and uber-cool Cara Delavingne kept us amused backstage with her fabulously weird and wacky antics, including onesie-wearing, a wardrobe of Bart Simpson jumpers and turning the cameras on the backstage photographers. What will she have in store for us this time?

2. The Victoria Beckham Show

…Because we can’t get enough of VB, her dresses and the beauty looks which she chooses for her models.  Plus, last season we quite literally bumped into Becks and Harper backstage and well, we’re really hoping that it will happen again… *Blushes.*

3. Meeting The New Model Faces

Last season it was the lovely Juliana Schurig who took New York, London, Milan and Paris by storm. Who’s next?

4. Going Backstage At Calvin Klien

The backstage area at Calvin Klien is one of our favourite NYFW hangouts because it’s quite simply the best place to pick up all of the best beauty tips on polished makeup perfection – our Holy Grail.

5. Catching Up With Our Backstage Beauty Pals

We just can’t wait for a good ole catch up with all of our hair, makeup artist, manicurist and backstage photographer friends; from Gucci Westman to Bobbi Brown, Guido Palau, Marion Newman, David Barton and Jason Lloyd Evans. See you there guys!

6. Finding Out What’s New For Next Season

Next year’s new beauty products are always trialled backstage the season before and we always look forward to discovering what is set to be the next big beauty thing.  Last time we were all talking about Revlon’s Baby Sticks which conjured up the perfect just-flushed effect. What’s new now?

7. Going (Beauty) Shopping!

We will definitely be dropping into our fave beauty haunt Shen Beauty, where the coolness and careful editing of Space NK meets the quirkiness of Liberty's beauty hall.  Find it at 315 COURT STREET, BROOKLYN, NY 11231.

8. Heading to SoulCycle

If we find a spare hour we'll be squeezing in a cheeky spinning session at SoulCycle, where inspirational coaching and high-energy music, make for a full body workout with a difference.
