The fourth chapter of Paranormal Activity has dislodged Taken 2 from the top of the global box office.
Despite being currently screened in half the number of countries playing Taken 2, the horror flick netted $56.7M globally, according to Rentrak. Taken 2, starring Liam Neeson, is still going strong, however, after adding $36.9M to its coffers, which brings its total earnings to $281.7M.
Hotel Transylvania comes in third with $28M, and Ben Affleck's Argo is fourth with $17.8M across nine countries.
