Patrick Dempsey says his “children and wife” are the best things in his life.
The actor’s three kids challenge him and make him feel calm in equal measures.
The Grey’s Anatomy star added that although they have been married for over a decade, he is still stunned at how well his wife Jillian Fink handles him.
“Laughter, because it can be so hard to find. My children, who teach me patience and who challenge me,” he told British magazine Red when asked to name the best things in life. “And my wife, who puts up with me – for which I’m completely amazed.”
Patrick also revealed how he likes to relax.
The movie star prefers to play old-fashioned games with his children Tallulah, nine, and twin sons Darby and Sullivan, four.
“[I relax by] playing Go Fish with the kids. Games are the way forward. It helps us to interact without getting lost in technology. Everything for the kids now puts them on their own little technological island, it’s terrible for family communication,” he explained.
