Patty Hou confirms pregnancy

18 Feb – After much speculations, Taiwanese TV personality Patty Hou has recently confirmed her pregnancy.

As reported on Sohu, on 15 February, Patty admitted that she is currently two months pregnant, but added that she is trying to keep a low profile since the pregnancy is still in its first trimester.

She also enthused that her husband, who had been busy with work, has also been spending more time to care for her ever since she was revealed to be pregnant.

Rumours first began when Patty was observed to have cut down her workload last year, sparking speculations that she was readying herself for pregnancy.

Meanwhile, it was reported that the "Love Buffet" star has been offered as many as four endorsement deals amounting to NTD 20 million (approx. USD 661,600) after news of her pregnancy broke.

However, the 36-year-old has yet to make any decision in regards to the offers.

Patty, who was once in a relationship with Taiwanese entertainer Jay Chou, married the Vice President of Citigroup Global Securities, Huang Bojun (also known as Ken Huang) in April 2011. This is the first pregnancy for the loving couple.
