Fabien Destine is treated for congenital heart disease

Haitian Fabien Destine receives surgery for congenital heart disease by a team of surgeons, doctors and nurses. Health officials estimate there are around 10,000 cases of rheumatic and congenital heart disease in Haiti - the number one cause of death globally.
