The Color Run attracts close to 16,000 participants in Singapore

The Color Run saw close to 16,000 participants covered in colourful powder while finishing the 5km route in Sentosa, starting from the Beach Station open air carpark. The two-day inaugural event in Singapore kicked off on Friday and ended Saturday. The sold-out running event was organised by CIMB Bank, which is donating a $16,000 cheque to a non-profit charity called Happy Feet Project – which provide support for underprivileged children. Founded by US event manager Travis Snyder in a bid to get more professionals to run, the event's concept is that colour powder thrown will give a healthy and fun time for all.
