Kolkata Summer in Photos
Kolkata is experiencing one of the hottest summers in its history. Not surprising, given the general apathy over what could happen if the percentage of green falls too suddenly. While Shriniketan, about 165 km from Kolkata, recorded a ghastly 45.5°Celsius, the capital of West Bengal has been shimmering at 36 – 40.5°Celsius for more than a week now.
