Violet revolutionised the dating scene here by co-founding Singapore’s first modern dating agency, Lunch Actually, in 2004. Today, Lunch Actually is the region’s largest dating company with offices in Singapore, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur and Penang. The company has arranged 20,000 introductions, served 120,000 singles through 5 dating platforms ranging from online dating to high-end matchmaking. Violet has been featured in many media platforms including Bloomberg, Forbes, CNBCAsia, USAToday, ABC News and the 2005 National Day Video as one of Singapore’s most aspiring people.
An acknowledged industry expert and Spirit of Enterprise 2008 Award winner, Violet is frequently invited to speak on both entrepreneurship and dating. She sits on the board of the Matchmaking Institute (New York) and is the Charter President of ADAMS, Singapore’s first dating association.
Violet maintains a dating and relationship blog, winner of ‘The Most Insightful Blog’ at the Singapore Blog Awards 2010. She also authored the bestselling dating book “Lessons From 15,000 First Dates”.
