Inspired by the ideals and sacrifices of people he worked around with during his stint at Zazzle.com, a Silicon Valley startup, he envisioned that Singaporeans too could pursue their passions instead of a secure desk job that they dislike.
As a clueless fresh grad who wanted to create real value for businesses and consumers, he first seek to understand businesses better by diving head first into the digital media industry as an employee.
Coupled with an honest belief that tech start-ups should be bringing real value to the table instead of just doing things revolving local start-ups, he relentlessly questioned the needs of his clients and consumers while working in the sales team at Yahoo! Search Marketing to find a real need he could serve.
With his savings and his newfound faith as his cornerstone, he teamed up with an ex-schoolmate to found around!, a mobile loyalty application that runs on iPhone and Android. A conversation with him will always find ‘passion’ and ‘serving others’ at his lips. In his free time, he reaches out to students in speaking gigs and aspires youth to discover their interests in life. less
