The Big Picture
As part of this year’s Global Action Week, children were asked to draw their favourite childhood memories or activities. Many enjoy spending time with their friends and families, often in playgrounds, on holiday or playing with toys. Global Action Week is an annual event that highlights the importance of education for all. This year’s theme focuses on improving the quality of early childhood care and education. These drawings will be exhibited in the Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall, beginning on Saturday, April 21st. The artwork will be exhibited until the end of May, before being collated globally. Thereafter, they will be presented to world leaders with calls for them to prioritise early childhood education. (Photos courtesy of 'Save the Children', ARNEC, AECES and Playeum)
