Will the real mistress please stand up?
8 Jul – Divorce rumours about Hong Kong showbiz couple Nicholas Tse and Cecilia Cheung have come to an end with Cheung signing off her divorce papers on Tuesday but rumours about Tse's mystery mistress is Mainland China continues, according to China Buzz website.
The source notes that since the issue is still being talked about, it has made the woman popular overnight.
The photo that has been circulating is said to be of Ruan Weixi (nicknamed: Big Child VC), a woman born in the 90s in Zhejiang, is known for her online shop called Big Child. She is said to have met Tse while shopping in Hong Kong.
Another rumoured mistress of Tse's is actress Xia Xinyu. There are pictures of her and Tse online that some have used to indicate that Xia is indeed his kept woman in Beijing.
However, Xia herself has refuted the rumour: "Nicholas has been my idol since I was a kid. He is the dreamlover but I am not his mistress. Please don't use my admiration of him to create hype, or make stories that defame my public image, or else I will retain the right to seek for legal actions."
Still more on the topic, the same source notes that a woman called Li Meixi from Shanxi has reportedly come forward to claim herself as the mistress of Nicholas Tse.
It is further reported that she is from a rich family and she has declared online: "I will ask my father to sell the villa, yacht, sports car or sell hundreds of million worth of stocks to get him."
In a very public statement, she has apparently said that she wishes to give birth to a "football team" of children for Tse.
