Dollar extends losses vs Swiss franc, down 1 pct

Reuters - Saturday, June 27

NEW YORK, June 26 - The dollar fell more than 1 percent against the Swiss franc on Friday, extending losses amid broad-based weakness.

The dollar <CHF=EBS> fell as low as 1.0800 francs, according to electronic trading platform EBS. It was last down 1.2 percent at 1.0813 francs.

Traders remained cautious about more intervention by the Swiss National Bank to weaken its domestic currency. The SNB has repeatedly intervened in the market this week.
