**HYNIX FALLS ON CONTINUED EARNINGS WORRIES**
Shares in Hynix Semiconductor <000660.KS> tumbled on Friday after gaining 5.5 percent Thursday, hit by continued worries about the memory chip market outlook after a U.S. brokerage said the world No.2 memory chip maker's second quarter earnings would remain weak, analysts said.
Goldman Sachs said in a report on Friday that a delay in the recovery of NAND Flash chip prices would continue to weigh on Hynix's earnings, according to local media reports.
"NAND Flash chip prices have been weakening in the past couple of months. But DRAM chips, which take up nearly 80 percent of Hynix's product portfolio, have been gaining for the past couple months," said Kim Gee-soo, an analyst at Goodmorning Shinhan Securities.
"Hynix will probably continue to post losses through this year," said Greg Roh, an analyst at Korea Investment & Securities, citing a likely slowdown in consumer demand for electronics goods.
Hynix shares were down 5.19 percent to 23,750 won as of 0519 GMT.

Shares in NHN Corp <035420.KQ>, the country's top internet portal and search service provider, tumbled 7.22 percent to 163,300 won on concerns over its dwindling market share.

Shares in Daum rose 3.65 percent to 65,300 won.
