Earthquake hits north of Tokyo

TOKYO - An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 5.1 jolted central Japan on Friday, a Japanese government agency said.
The quake, which occurred at 7:59 p.m. (11:59 a.m. British time), was also felt in Tokyo.
There were no immediate reports of damage, and no tsunami warning was issued.
