Origin Energy Sept quarter output falls 25% yr/yr

SYDNEY, Oct 28 - Origin Energy Ltd <ORG.AX>, Australia's No. 2 power retailer, reported a 25 percent fall in September quarter output after selling some of its coal seam gas assets, the company said in a statement on Wednesday.

Origin's quarterly output stood at 25.4 petajoule equivalent.

Origin, which has the largest coal seam gas reserves in Australia, in September agreed an $8 billion joint venture with U.S. major ConocoPhillips to develop a liquefied natural gas project in eastern Australia.
