Selina Jen plans October comeback
27 May - Embattled burn victim Selina Jen of the Taiwanese pop group S.H.E. plans to return to showbiz as early as October, reported Taiwan media.
It is alleged that although doctors claimed it would take up to two years for Selina to fully recover, the 30-year-old singer appears to be in such good shape that she will be able to start work soon.
In addition to three new songs to mark her comeback, Selina will also publish a book recording her moods, feelings and thoughts during her convalescence.
On her microblog, Selina posted a photo of in sunglasses and wearing a long skirt.
"I'm glad my hair has grown longer. It is transforming from being bald to a crew cut," she tweeted.
Selina, one-third of Taiwan's famous girl group S.H.E. had suffered 52 per cent burns on her body and had gone through three rounds of skin grafts, in a filming accident on the set of drama "I Have A Date With Spring" last October in Shanghai.
