Seung-yeon hospitalised for anaemia

9 Jul – It was recently reported that KARA's member Han Seung-yeon has been hospitalised after displaying symptoms of acute anaemia.

According to Allkpop website, KARA's agency, DSP Media revealed, "Seung-yeon had been suffering from headaches and dizziness, and therefore, on 7 July, she was sent to the hospital in southern Seoul."

Due to her hospitalisation, the singer's Singapore KJ5 perfume event on 8 July had to be cancelled – leaving only Gyu-ri, Ha-ra, Nicole and Ji-young to perform.

Meanwhile, through the agency, Seung-yeon said, "I'm really sorry that I couldn't keep my meetings with fans overseas. I tried putting my schedule to a halt in order to receive treatments at the hospital so that I can heal quickly, but it didn't work. I will rest and do my best to get better quickly."

Meanwhile, after the Singapore event concluded, KARA will be returning to Korea on 11 July and focus on individual activities.
