SHINee and SuJu entertains Donica Sterling

25 Jun – 15 year-old terminally ill Donica Sterling from the United States dreams came true as she received a warm welcome from her idols, Super Junior and SHINee.

Korea.com reported that, Sterling arrived in South Korea from New York to meet with her favourite stars after she claimed that they have become her source of strength during her illness.

Donica Sterling is reportedly suffering from an incurable disease, which contracts her muscles, and is currently bound on a wheelchair. The 15-year-old was able to travel to South Korea through the sponsorship of Herbert Black, the president of American Iron and Metal.

Sterling then visited the set of Super Junior's new music video in Namyangjoo, Gyeonggi Province on 17 June where the group members gave her a specially prepared gift package and also performed their song "Sorry Sorry" for her. She then had a chance to meet SHINee in person and was invited to visit SM Entertainment office on 20 June.

SHINee members gave her dolls, albums and photobook as well as performed her favourite song, "Ring Ding Dong".

Donica's most favourite SHINee member Tae-min stated, "I was so happy to hear that Donica came to Korea to see us. I was touched by her saying that our songs encourage her and I want to help her fight her disease."
