Sire Ma hands over online threats issue
17 Dec – TVB actress Sire Ma, who has been a victim of cyber bullying recently, revealed that she has not been affected much and has now submitted the case to her legal representative.
According to Mingpao News, the actress, who was in TVB City to shoot her new series "With or Without You" alongside Bobby Au Yeung and Joey Meng, stated that she has received a lot of support from her castmates.
"He [Bobby] has comforted me and given me encouragement. He said that I should seek his help immediately if there is anything," said Sire.
As for the case itself, whereby some anonymous internet users threatened to release sexually explicit messages and photographs of the actress if she does not quit showbiz, Sire said that it has been handed to her lawyers, and that she will not be too concerned about the matter.
"My faith has helped a lot in helping me continue. I have been going to the Buddhist temple every week nowadays, and one of the seniors there told me that everything in life, be it good or bad, is necessary to our growth. So I will face this bravely," said the actress.
