Sony and Roxy unveil their new fitness wearable

There's a new wave that's rolling in and it's cobalt blue like the water in your favorite surf spot, only this wave can log your daily activities and help you plan the days to come.

It's the latest technology from Sony Mobile, who's joined forces with Roxy, the women's outdoor lifestyle brand focused on surfing and watersports.

When connected to its Lifelog Android app, the limited edition SmartBand With Roxy not only counts steps and calories burned, it lets you record your social outings more easily by connecting to your smartphone's camera.

It's possible to bookmark memorable moments with photos, and even the little things in life that make you happy like a great morning workout.

Equipped with three LED indicators, it alerts users of incoming calls and messages by vibrating, and it's even possible to control your beach playlist from your wrist, without getting up from your towel.

Like other gadgets of its kind, it tells you how you've slept and it knows whether you've gotten enough exercise, and the band is waterproof at three meters deep for 30 minutes.

It lets you know how you're holding up by showing you how many Activity Points you've earned for all those steps and that last bike ride.

The SmartBand With Roxy costs €99 and will be available in Sony's online store next week.
