Soo-young's drama debut pushed back

17 Feb – It was reported that SNSD Soo-young has decided to withdraw from her drama debut for "Speed".

Koreaboo website reported that the singer would not appear in the drama and instead, she would focus on SNSD activities and look for other projects.

Filming for the drama was supposed to begin in December. However, problems occurred with the production process thus it appears that SM Entertainment made the decision to pass the role.

An anonymous broadcasting source stated, "The drama ("Speed") did not have any contracts signed with the stars that were approached. Filming hasn't even begun yet. That is probably why Soo-young's agency made the decision to decline the role."

Currently the SNSD members are busy with their acting careers. Jessica appears on the drama "Wild Romance". Yuri will be appearing on "Fashion King" while YoonA is playing one of the lead roles on "Love Rain."
