    Takeshi single to mingle

    20 May – At the official world premiere for "Wu Xia" at the Lumiere Theatre, California, Takeshi Kaneshiro revealed that he's very much single and out seeking for love, according to Asian Bite website.

    Japanese icon Takeshi Kaneshiro appeared at the red carpet event decked in a smart black suit as fans screamed his name.

    As Takeshi leads a quite life, the media often speculates that the 37-year-old actor is married to a Japanese girl who was pregnant at the time of their wedding supposedly two years ago.

    However Takeshi's manager strongly denied the rumour while Takeshi kept mum.

    When asked about his current martial status, Takeshi said, "No I've never gotten married before. It has always been a media speculation. I'm still single,"

    The actor also added that he's leaving his love life up to fate now.

      This is a badly-written article. The author fails to differentiate between "quite" and "quiet" which I believe should be the latter to make the sentence self-explanatory.

      This is the problem when Yahoo! employs a FT who main language of communication is not ENGLISH!

        Excuse me, my main language of communication is English for 50 years , from the day I enter Primary one till now. I often make typo error.

        So , don't just join the mad crowd and point to FT .

        You mean the way we write is good English. Take deeper look at some of the English written by Singaporeans.

      I heard he's gay. But he's so secretive, no one really knows for sure. I'll just assume he's gay, cos that's often the case nowadays :(

      Nothing against gays, it's just that he's so hot - so if he really is gay, such sad news for us ladies! Not that we stand a chance with him, of course.
