Tang Wei denies Hyun Bin Scandal
12 Jul – Chinese actress Tang Wei of "Lust, Caution" fame finally opened up to address the apparent scandal between her and Korean actor Hyun Bin, according to HanCinema website.
During a press conference at Taiwan's 2011 Taipei International Movie Festival, the actress laughed upon receiving a comment on the matter and said, "Hyun Bin is an attractive man, but the scandal isn't true".
Hyun Bin and Tang Wei were lovers in the movie "Late Autumn 2010". Last year, a Chinese media daily reported that Tang Wei was the reason Hyun Bin and Song Hye-gyo broke up but it was assumed that the real reason behind the split was because Hyun Bin had to join the Marine Corps for mandatory military training.
