Tatty Divine's Workshop Hits Selfridges!

Famous for their silhouette shapes and word necklaces, Tatty Devine will be setting up home in Selfridges, bringing their laser cutter and team of expert jewellers, to make bespoke jewellery on the spot.  The cool new studio and shop will be situated on the ground floor.

"Selfridges is known for their innovative approach to retailing, and is the perfect environment for our first Tatty Devine live workshop.  We had a pop-up space in January, in the Wonder Room, which was such a success with the customers that we have been invited to take up permanent residence."

The laser cutting studio will be creating a huge array of Perspex cut out jewellery including the famous name and word necklaces.  Exclusive to Selfridges will be new name bracelets, made with cut out letters in cute colours.  Also at the workshop, customers can create their own unique necklace, from any word – be it a special lyric, nick-name or Twitter name.

Tatty Devine will be selling an extensive range of their iconic jewellery such as their bow rings and moustache necklaces.   Their complete SS12 range will also be on sale which includes the Jubilee range of cute tiaras, statement floral necklaces and 50s inspired Eyelash sunglasses.

Tatty Devine was set up in 1999 by London duo Harriet Vine and Rosie Wolfenden, who launched their first collection when they graduated from Chelsea School of Art after studying Fine Art.  Success was instant and their jewellery was snapped up by Harvey Nichols and Browns and featured in Vogue.  They have subsequently opened two London shops, collaborated with an array of artists and designers such as Rob Ryan and Eley Kishimoto and made Dazed & Confused list of top 50 coolest brands in the world.

Globally admired for their quirky humour and creative genius, Tatty Devine remains an independent British brand, who is committed to hand-craft and making in Britain.  If you can't make it to London or want to try before you buy, get your name necklace at  www.tattydevine.com
