Top speakers gather for charity event

Fourteen of Asia's leading wealth creation and motivational speakers are banding together to raise funds for victims of recent flooding disasters in Thailand, Cambodia and the Philippines.

The Learn-A-Thon 2011 will take place today - Monday, November 28, at Kallang Theatre. Entrance to the event, which starts at 7pm and is expected to attract around 2,000 participants, is free-of-charge.

The event is the brainchild of Patrick Liew, Chief Executive Officer of HSR International Realtors Pte Ltd and a well-known figure on the Singapore speaking and motivational industry circuit. Speakers include Boyd Au, Arthur Camazzi, Ken Chee, Andrew Chow, Mike Handcock, Adam Khoo, Wendy Kwek, Jaz Lai, Dave Rogers, Ken Sapp, KC See, Jerome Tan, Yang Po Tan and Jim Khoo.

Liew said: "The organising committee felt strongly that we wanted to try to do something practical to alleviate the suffering of our regional neighbours in these times of natural disaster, so a wealth creation seminar seemed like an initiative we could quickly stage since we are mostly all involved in the motivational seminar industry already."
