    The Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority of Singapore (AVA) has stopped the sale of a brand of tapioca balls commonly used to make Taiwan bubble tea in Singapore. In a Facebook post on Monday, the AVA said it had informed the local importers of Sunright brand tapioca balls -- commonly known as "pearls" -- to withdraw them from sale.

High-tech product releases announced the week ending July 18 include the Fujitsu Arrow Z ISW13F smartphone, the Panasonic Lumix SZ5 and LX7, the Motorola Motogo! TV smartphone, and the Sony Walkman E470 Series.

A quad-core smartphone with a smart fingerprint sensor
Fujitsu’s flagship Arrow Z ISW13F smartphone uses a proprietary fingerprint sensor that enables users to easily unlock the phone's screen without a password. The device also features a 4.6" large-screen HD LCD, 13.1MP camera, high-speed WiMAX communications, a 1.5GHz NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor, DLNA connectivity, and is water- and dust-resistant. The Arrow Z  ISW13F will be available in Japan beginning July 20. Pricing has not been announced.

A compact camera with WiFi
The compact Panasonic Lumix SZ5 (also known as the DMC-SZ5) camera makes it easy to shoot and share photos with your friends. Smartphone owners can pair the camera with their handset or an available WiFi hotspot for on-the-go photo uploads to social media sites. There's also an iPhone and Android app that can be used to remotely trigger the shutter. The 14.1MP camera has a 10x optical zoom, a 3” LCD screen, a 25mm ultra wide-angle LEICA DC VARIO-ELMAR lens, 1280x720 at 30p video recording, and loads of built-in camera effects. The SZ5 is priced at €200 and will be available in the weeks ahead.

The LX7 is priced at €450 and will be available around September.
