Topshop Announces Louise Gray Collaboration!

Topshop has just announced its upcoming make-up and fashion collaboration with Fashion Forward designer Louise Gray. For the collaboration, which will launch in late August, Louise has designed a range of make-up that is playful and bright and includes glitter pots and flouro eye colours in creamy textures alongside a fashion collection of simple shapes in her signature style with colour and texture - and we cannot wait to get shopping!

Company are huge fans of Louise Gray, who, after studying textiles at The Glasgow School of Art, went on to graduate with an MA in Fashion from Central Saint Martins College.  Immediately after graduating, Louise was selected by Fashion East where she showed for three seasons, and then in 2010 she received NEWGEN sponsorship, and has since shown on-schedule for two presentations and three show seasons. She has this year received Fashion Forward sponsorship.

"It's very exciting to work with Topshop on this collaboration. I have been working with the TOPSHOP team since they first sponsored my collection through NEWGEN a few years ago, they've been so supportive of my work from the start and it was great to create this collection with them! My idea behind the collaboration was to design for the Topshop girl a range that was young and fun, similar to both the fashion and make up I wear already. My mainline collections have always been about pushing optimism, colour and fun, I want her to experiment with the product, be daring and have fun with it." Louise Gray

"Louise is one of the UK’s most treasured designers, and with this collection she has captured her love of colour and texture to create a range of make up that is fun, playful and brimming with colour. The collection is perfect for the Topshop girl. " Kate Phelan

  • Singaporean filmmaker gets 15-minute standing ovation at Cannes

Singaporean director Anthony Chen described as “surreal” the 15-minute standing ovation that followed the world premiere of his debut feature film "Ilo Ilo" at the Cannes Film Festival on Sunday. Though the ending of the premiere couldn’t have been more perfect, the 29-year-old Chen said the beginning was quite “nerve-wrecking” as it was marred by technical glitches.
