Twitter users are buzzing about the disappearance of athletes from Cameroon who were in Britain to participate in the Olympic games. 

The news that seven Cameroonian athletes have disappeared during the Games has sparked the trending topic "Britain for the Olympics" due to re-tweeted news reports bearing the heading "in Britain for the Olympics."

Also causing Olympic-related buzz is triathlete Javier Gomez Noya, who took the bronze medal for Spain after finishing 11 seconds behind Alistair Brownlee, winner of Britain's 19th gold medal of the Games.

The second placed trending topic, "Genesis 8:7-12," refers to a passage in the Bible that tells the story of Noah's Ark. Keen-eyed Twitter users have also noticed that this is today's date in the numerical American format (8/7/12).
