Twitter index: Twitter users wish Johnny Depp and Les Paul a happy birthday

Twitter is full of posts wishing both American actor Johnny Depp and the late American jazz guitarist Les Paul a happy birthday on the morning of June 9.

Twitter users are helping the Pirates of the Caribbean actor celebrate his 48th birthday with words of adoration.

Birthday wishes are also in order for legendary guitar player "Les Paul," who would share the same birthday as Johnny Depp were he still alive today. Twitterers are paying tribute to the guitar hero and pointing their followers in the direction of Google's interactive guitar doodle.

A cycling event called "Alpe" d'Huezes has caught the attention of Dutch microbloggers. The race is organized to raise money for cancer research and involves participants cycling up the Alpe d'Huez six times in one day.

The American animated TV series "South Park" and "Family Guy" are in sixth and eighth places, while "#alicebucketlist" is in ninth position.
