Beginning June 21, some 12,000 events and performances across the UK will be taking place over the course of 12 weeks in celebration of the Olympic Games.
The London 2012 Festival will see more than 25,000 artists from all 204 Olympic nations take part in events across the UK, with 18 million people participating.
The five headline events include artist Jeremy Deller's inflatable Stonehenge, a fireworks display with the arrival of the Olympic Torch Relay at Windermere, and opening night performances by pop star Pixie Lott and conductor Gustavo Dudamel.
In London, more than 100,000 fans are expected to attend the free Radio 1 Hackney Weekend happening this weekend, with headliners Jay-Z and Rihanna.
In Northern Ireland, The Peace One Day Global Truce Countdown Concert happens in Londonderry, with host and ambassador Jude Law and performances by Lott, Imelda May, and Newton Faulkner.
At Scotland's Stirling Castle, the Simon Bolivar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela will perform an outdoor concert, to be joined by some 450 children from Raploch, Stirling.
Deller's bouncy castle Stonehenge, dubbed Sacrilege, will be inflated today at the National Botanical Gardens in Carmarthen, before touring the UK.
