Victoria Beckham's Airport Style: Heading To New York Fashion Week With Harper Seven!

Victoria Beckham at the airport in towering heels and a Harper Seven on her arm? It can only mean one thing: New York Fashion Week is about to begin!

The designer hopped on a plane from LAX last night, straight to the Big Apple, in preparation for her catwalk show on Sunday. And, in true VB style, she used the airport as a catwalk of her own, working her signature chicness in a knitted short-sleeved maroon sweater and a kilt-like pleated skirt with buckles at the side. It was the perfect showcase for her slender pins, that were kept warm in black tights and topped off with black ankle boots. The huge sunnies were firmly in place too, and would you look at that luscious head of bouncy chesnut tresses? We've said it before and we'll say it again, Lady Becks SO wants to be in the Kate Middleton crew.

As for little Harper, she was back in one of her many little dresses. And, naturallement, the frock was the perfect complement to her mother's ensemble. On arrival at the airport, the tot was seen in a cutsey number covered in black and maroon checked plaid (to match VB's muted colour palette) and the look was accessorised with a headband in her hair, adorned with a dinky bow. But for the chilly weather in New York, VB wisely wrapped her daughter up in a snug grey coat to keep her cosy.

Victoria has a busy schedule when she arrives Stateside. Not only will she be showing her Autumn / Winter 2012 collection on Sunday 12th (that's just four sleeps, peoples!), she's rumoured to be creating dresses for the Hollywood heavyweights due to be walking the Oscar red carpet. As Grazia Daily reported earlier this week, the designer has been inundated with gown requests from the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow and Cameron Diaz. And with Michelle Williams sporting not one, but two of her Victoria, Victoria Beckham creations in the past few weeks, chances of seeing a VB beauty at the Oscars are becoming more likely.

But until then, the question on everyone's lips is will we see little Becklet joining Mummy Beckham backstage at her catwalk show? We can't think of a cuter mascot...
