Volunteers search for life in space

NASA scientists made history on Monday when they landed a probe on Mars.

Part of the project's task is to look for any evidence that life has ever existed on the planet.

Now scientists in California are looking for life in an entirely different way. And tens of thousands of enthusiastic would-be alien seekers have signed up to help.
