We are looking for a Creative Designer to join the audience team. As a Creative Designer you will work closely with editors, product managers and engineers to help create the best user experience online.
 
 
Responsibilities:

• Develop concepts to improve the look and feel of our core media properties

• Create interaction and visual designs that address business, brand, market, and user requirements, including the design and production of wireframes, site maps, interaction flow, moodboard, color palettes, typography, and design mock-ups.

• Work with editors, web developers and engineers to deliver the final product, and ensure the final product is consistent with approved designs

• Design web sites, landing pages, page elements and web graphics, HTML emails, web banners and web application user interfaces.

• Plan and execute user-centered interaction concepts, with a focus on overall user experience with a great attention to detail.

• Assesses new standards, technologies and trends, and formulates strategies and plans for future enhancements of web sites.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years experience in Web designing.

• Strong sense and awareness of web and graphical trends.

• Strong computer skills across a variety of creative based software programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dream weaver, Flash and Fireworks. Flash Action Script, HTML and CSS are a plus).

• Understanding of the restrictions and capabilities of HTML, DHTML, Flash, and JavaScript as it applies to web and user interface design.

• Strong visual and problem solving skills with a good understanding of typography, layout, and visual applications and treatments.

• Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple priorities.

• Works well under pressure and able to meet aggressive deadlines

• Ability to work independently as well as in cross-functional groups

• Good interpersonal skills, and good written and verbal communication skills
