Wong Jing announces official "From Vegas 2" cast
2 Jul – After much speculation, Hong Kong director Wong Jing recently revealed the official cast list of the upcoming sequel to his hit Lunar New Year film, "From Vegas to Macau".
According to Mingpao News, the director went online to reveal that aside from Chow Yun-fat, two other original actors, Nicholas Tse and Chapman To are officially off the sequel.
In replacement of Nicholas, who wasn't able to participate due to his hectic schedule, the production company signed award-winning actor Nick Cheung and Shawn Yue.
On the other hand, it was no surprise that Chapman was not listed in the cast, since the mainland boycott against him is still going strong.
Aside from Nick and Shawn, "From Vegas to Macau 2" will also star original cast member Kimmy Tong, Chinese stars Jin Qiaoqiao and Wu Yue, Hong Kong actress Carina Lau, as well as "Dad, Where Are We Going?" child star, Angela Wang.
A full synopsis of the sequel is yet to be released.
