Renowned Japanese bag brand, Crystal Ball, recently commemorated its first launch in Singapore by inviting On The Beat host, Jeremy Tian and Mark Lee's wife, Catherine, to do a catwalk parading its label's latest designs.
Catherine shared, "I was really nervous, I was worried that I will not be able to do a good job! I do not have a model's figure and although I have been doing exercises vigorously after giving birth, I have not regained my original figure!"
She shared that Mark was initially doubtful of her choice to do a catwalk and smilingly said, "However, on the morning of that day itself, he was really sweet and gave me some encouraging words."
As Mark is currently busy filming his upcoming movie, Being Human Being, he was unable to attend the event to show his support for his wife. The couple's 15-month-old baby girl was present and appeared visibly excited the moment she saw her mother strutting around.
Apart from Catherine and Jeremy, local artistes Vivian Lai and Charlyn Lin were also present to show their support for their friends. A 160-cm-tall Catherine said, "Vivian laughed at the both of us and called us, "Singapore's shortest models!""
"The rewards are not bad. Each time there are new bag designs, the boss will invite me over to pick and choose a bag. It's pretty good."
Crystal Ball is franchised by Donald, the boss of fashion clothing store, Kai. Crystal Ball is currently retailing at Kai in Far East Plaza, Isetan Scotts and Isetan Wisma.
