Zac Efron is reportedly pursuing Barbadian pop princess Rihanna.
The 24-year-old actor is apparently working overtime to woo the Umbrella singer and is doing everything he can to get her to date him.
Star magazine claims that The Lucky One star is determined to get the girl.
“Zac has been incredibly persistent,” the insider told the publication. “He’s wanted to hook up with Rihanna for years and thinks now the time is finally right.”
He apparently sent four dozen roses to the Battleship starlet’s hotel room when they were both in Australia promoting their projects last month.
“Rihanna called his room right away and they had a sweet conversation,” the source added. “Zac suggested that they get together when they’re both in LA and she said, ‘Absolutely!’”
“Zac’s sick of his good-guy image. He wants to cut loose and have some fun – and he thinks Rihanna is the perfect girl for that.”
