1 dead in Labour Day shooting, say Toronto police seeking more information

A young male has died following a shooting in Toronto on Monday, Toronto police say.

Emergency crews were called to the area of Black Creek and Trethewey drives around 7:46 p.m.

Officers found the injured victim and performed life-saving measures. He was transported to hospital but died a short time later, police said.

Police say a suspect or suspects drove away in a dark-coloured, four-door sedan but provided no further details.
