“1000-Lb. Sisters”’ Tammy Slaton Oversleeps and Misses 5K with Family as Amy Jokes 'My Ass Don’t Run' (Exclusive)

"I don't care how long it takes me, just as long as I finish,” says Amy Slaton in PEOPLE's exclusive clip of '1000-Lb. Sisters’

Tammy Slaton and Amy Slaton both signed up for a local 5K race — but only one crossed the finish line.

In PEOPLE’s exclusive clip from Tuesday’s episode of 1000-Lb. Sisters, Tammy and Amy decide to do a 5K with their siblings, hoping to build their endurance and stamina before taking a family trip to London.

Tammy misses the start — she later says she overslept — but the rest of the family shows up and splits to tackle the course. Walking with Amy, Amanda notices they are the last walkers of the entire group.

“My ass don’t run unless it’s chasing after my kids,” Amy quips. “So my goal for today is just to finish. I don't care how long it takes me, just as long as I finish.”

Misty and Chris’ wife Brittany were also walking together and started complaining about how tough it is to walk up the hills.

“My plan is just to walk until it's over,” Brittany says before Misty adds, “Just do it until we can't do it no more or we finish… whichever one’s first.”

The pair then “cut corners” and catch up with Chris, who was walking at a fast pace by himself. However, he leaves them behind after they couldn’t keep up.

“I can't believe he walked off and left us like that after we caught up to him,” Misty says. “That’s just mean!”

“If you can’t keep up, get out of the way!” Chris says. “I really don't give a damn where the others are at. If I slow down and don't keep pace, I'm worried about myself not finishing.”

Eventually, Tammy shows up late to the race and shares how she overslept and is disappointed in herself.

“My butt overslept and then my phone was dead. I’m beating myself up hardcore for this. I really wanted to come and participate,” she says. “Well, I'm here though, so I guess once they go by I'll be cheering them on. You can do it!”

“About damn time showed up,” Amy says when she sees her sister. “At least you're here.”

A new episode of 1000-Lb. Sisters airs Tuesday, Dec. 3 at 9PM ET/PT.
