112 Katong set to lure shoppers

The newly refurbished 112 Katong shopping mall is set to provide shoppers in the eastern region of Singapore with easier access to downtown luxury right within their neighbourhood.Previously called Katong Mall, it has undergone a S$60 million facelift, paying very close attention to detail.Featuring a Peranakan theme, the lifestyle mall comes with a BreadTalk and Little Cravings outlet that specially serves Peranakan food. In addition, The Da Paolo Gastronomia or Baci Italian Cafe provides an Italian dining experience, while Food Republic, Yomenya Goemon and Din Tai Fung serve up local fare and Asian-Japanese cuisine. The mall also houses a Zero2six toy store, offering high-quality children's toys as well as shops that sell clothes, shoes and accessories at bargain prices.
