14 days mandatory quarantine for all Afghan evacuees

New Delhi, Aug 24 (ANI): The people who arrived from Afghanistan are being taken from Delhi airport to ITBP's Chhawla Camp where they will undergo mandatory 14-day institutional quarantine. Indo-Tibetan Border Police informed, “First batch of 81 people evacuated from Afghanistan will be quarantined at ITBP camp in Chhawla for 14 days. Those tested COVID-19 positive will be later shifted to dedicated COVID-19 hospitals.” The Union Health Ministry on August 24 has mandated a compulsory minimum 14 days' institutional quarantine people arriving from Afghanistan.
