14-year veteran appointed new Sentral police station OC


IPOH: Assistant Superintendent (ASP) Mohamad Sahran Termizi is now the new Sentral Police station officer-in-charge (OC).

Effective today, he takes over the post from acting OC Sub-Inspector, Ahmad Bahari Mansor.

A handover of duties ceremony was held at the Ipoh District Headquarters (IPD) here, today.

Present were Ipoh police deputy chief, Supt Abdul Rani Alias and several senior officers.

Sahran, 37, has served the police force for 14 years. He was previously attached to the General Operations Force (GOF) 4th Battalion in Semenyih, Selangor.

''I hope that I can carry out my duties distinguishably, and I will try my best to ensure that the crime statistics here are low. I hope the personnel will support and extend their full cooperation,'' he said.
