I'm So Sorry But Literally WHAT Were These Architects Thinking When They Made These 15 Unhinged Design Decisions

Ever walked into a home and things just seemed...off? Well, the 850k+ members of That's It, I'm Architecture Shaming certainly have. It's a Facebook group where people post homes and buildings whose designs leave something to be desired, and honestly, I simply can't get enough of it.

These are just 15 of the most offensive architecture fails I've ever seen, so if you're easily enraged by ridiculous design decisions...buckle up.

1.Starting off strong with this afterthought of a door:

A white door with a cut-out shape at the bottom to fit over a step in the carpeted floor. The step leads to another level

2.The ultimate answer to whether or not to pee in the shower:

A bathroom with a glass shower, toilet, pedestal sink, and storage shelf with various toiletries

3.A harmless little corner that will torment you forever once you notice it:

A close-up image of a corner junction of two white-colored walls and the ceiling in a house, with a small framed picture on one wall

4.These designers must be so happy they don't actually live in these places:

Open oven with a drawer above it, containing oven mitts inside

Open kitchen drawer placed in an unusual position under the corner of the countertop, next to an oven, containing folded linens or kitchen towels

5.Perfect for the aspiring music artist (question mark??):

A small nook in a home interior with a hanging ceiling light and carpeted floor. The nook is next to a hallway with a window-like opening on the left wall

6.Stumbling down this at 2 a.m. like:

A very narrow bathroom with a toilet squeezed tightly between two walls, with just enough space to walk down a narrow path to reach it

7.Would love to know what's behind that window:

Outdoor staircase with nine tiled steps, leading to a closed door with a window shutter and a flower basket hanging from the railing

8.Those random lofted spaces will never be the same:

A home interior view shows an open, brightly lit stairwell area with a large window, square light fixture, and railing visible. No people are present

A loft area with a high ceiling features a chair adorned with a dinosaur head, a plant, a small table, and a lamp. A large window provides natural light

9.Me and my twinnenem:

A gray-carpeted staircase with an awkward, irregular step near the bottom leading to a open door with light coming through

10.Like, what could you even put here:

A hand holds a fly swatter with a leopard pattern near a staircase railing

11.This architect mixed up the blueprint and a Tetris game:

Small kitchen with a white stove, overhead cabinets, and a sink under a window. Wood flooring and back door visible

12.Aww, they thought of a place to store your bathroom giraffe:

Bathroom with a glass-door shower and white-tiled interior, next to a closed white door

13.This curtain doing the absolute most:

Small bathroom with a toilet, sink, and a shower behind a floral curtain. Toilet paper is on the toilet tank

Bathroom with a toilet placed next to a staircase leading downward, partially covered by a curtain. Toilet paper sits on top of the toilet

14.We all need our daily Titanic moment calling down the stairs for chips:

A staircase leads up to a small landing enclosed by railings, but there is no door or opening to continue, creating a dead-end space

15.And finally, an unfortunate predicament for those who stand to pee:

Bathroom with toilet, round window showing an outdoor scene including a tree and house, and a curtain next to it

Which design fail had you seeing red? (Personally, any tiny space primed for cobweb collection makes me shudder.) Tell me about it in the comments.
