2 dead, teen injured, in KL-Seremban Expressway crash


KUALA LUMPUR: Two men were killed and a teenager was severely injured when the car they were traveling in rammed into a road divider at Km303.9 of the Kuala Lumpur-Seremban Expressway, today.

The vehicle’s driver, M. Mathan, 35, and rear seat passenger, Abdul Razali Mohd Ismail, 28, were pronounced dead at the scene.

It is believed that Mathan lost control of his vehicle, which led to the 7am crash.

“Another passenger, a 19-year-old, sustained severe injuries and was rushed to the Serdang hospital for treatment,” said Kajang police chief Assistant Commissioner Othman Nanyan.

The deceased were taken to the same hospital for post-mortems.
