3 men shot, 1 woman stabbed in Mississauga: police

Peel Regional Police are investigating after three men were shot and one woman was stabbed in Mississauga on Monday.

Officers were called to an industrial area of Tomken Road and Matheson Boulevard shortly after 12:30 a.m. for reports of a shooting.

Duty Insp. Karen Meeker said three men suffered injuries as a result of a shooting while one woman was stabbed.

Two men were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Meeker said. The two other victims attended the hospital and also had non-life-threatening injuries.

"We believe that this is an isolated incident to the area and that there is no other threat at this time," Meeker said.

An investigation into the incident is underway, police said. No other details have been released at this time.
