While there are different beaches in Singapore for each type of beach goer, doesn't it excite you that you could step foot on gorgeous beaches in Asia you probably didn't even know existed? You probably have all been to destinations nearby Singapore a lot already, so it is high time you venture elsewhere for that extra dose of fun.

Below, we at GET.com share with you the three beautiful beaches in Asia that you likely haven't even heard of before.

3 Most Beautiful Beaches In Asia You Didn't Know Existed

1. Long Beach, Koh Rong Island, Cambodia

Although Cambodia is most recognised for Angkor Wat (its UNESCO World Heritage Site), the relative undeveloped Koh Rong Island is truly a gem for beach-loving travellers. In particular, Long Beach is a stunning beach with powdery soft white sand and perfectly clear waters that you definetely should check out when you are there.

Aptly named, the untouched, flawless Long Beach runs along the coast for a seemingly endless amount of time without anyone else in sight - an excellent option for those who are looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway. It is, after all, not incredibly accessible since you need to go on a 45-minute jungle trek from Koh Tuich Village (or hire a boat) to get there.

2. Green Bowl Beach, Bali, Indonesia

When you think of Bali, most likely Kuta Beach, Ubud and Seminyak are the names that pop up in your head right away. Contrary to the super touristy Bali destinations mentioned above, the undiscovered Green Bowl Beach is a genuine hidden beach paradise for those seeking a little paradise sans throngs of fellow tourists.

You will need to work up a sweat if you want to enjoy the serenity, golden sand, crystal clear waters at the beach along with opportunities to befriend starfish and crabs or even explore bat-inhabited caves. To get to Green Bowl Beach, you have no choice but to make your way down the 300 or so steep steps down a cliff.

3. The Similan Islands, Thailand

The Similan Islands are some of the amazing islands in Thailand you probably haven't been to before. For starters, the Similan Islands in the Andaman Sea comprises 9 little islands. So, if you are into island-hopping, islands #1 to #9 from the Similan Islands should be enough to blow your mind away if mainland Phuket's most famous beach (a.k.a. Patong Beach) happens to be a tad underwhelming.

The 9 islands that make up the Similan archipelago all boast sparkly soft white sand and clear azure blue waters. Go there if you fancy diving, snorkelling, marvelling at coral reefs and marine life, or even hiking. Not sure which islands to visit on your trip? Consider island #8 (Koh Similan) and island #4 (Koh Miang).

This mini Maldives-esque tropical destination is incredulously stunning. But just to give you a heads up, this dreamy chain of islands typically isn't open to the public from mid-May to mid-October, so make sure you plan ahead if you would be visiting.
