A car crashed into a shop at Marine Terrace just after noon on Saturday (9 December), injuring three pedestrians.

According to the Singapore Police Force, the police were alerted to an accident involving a car and three pedestrians at Block 50A Marine Terrace. In video of the aftermath posted online, a white car with a dislodged front bumper is nestled among the debris of what appears to be florist.

The police said all three injured pedestrians were taken to Changi General Hospital, one of them in an unconscious state. Investigations are in progress.

The crash came just days after a horror crash in Tanjong Pagar left four people injured after a Mercedes-Benz mowed them down as they crossed the road. One man had a fractured nose, another had internal bleeding in the brain, and a third man sustained a spinal injury, while a woman suffered abrasions. After the incident, a 41-year-old insurance agent was arrested and charged with drink driving.
