Nong-O Gaiyanghadao has been tearing up the bantamweight Muay Thai division since 2018, going 7-0 and capturing the divisional gold.
Along the way, he’s beaten #1-ranked contender Saemapetch Fairtex and #2-ranked “The Steel Locomotive” Rodlek PK.Saenchai Muaythaigym.
But there are three other top contenders the Thai legend has yet to face – contenders who could pose a real threat to his reign.
#1 Tawanchai P.K.Saenchai Muaythaigym
Tawanchai P.K.Saenchai Muaythaigym has only fought once in ONE Super Series, but that’s all the young phenom needed to crack the bantamweight rankings.
The new #4-ranked bantamweight Muay Thai contender stopped gritty Sean “Clubber” Clancy in his promotional debut at ONE: DANGAL, winning the bout with a spectacular third-round knockout.
The slick tactician would present a new set of challenges for Nong-O, as he’s very fast and has a muay femur fight IQ – similar to that of the ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion.
#2 ‘Left Meteorite’ Kulabdam Sor. Jor. Piek Uthai
“Left Meteorite” Kulabdam Sor. Jor. Piek Uthai, currently the #3-ranked bantamweight Muay Thai contender, is another athlete who’s yet to share the ONE Circle with Nong-O.
Although he dropped his last fight to #1-ranked Saemapetch Fairtex, “Left Meteorite” is still as dangerous as they come. Fans saw that when he knocked out “The Million Dollar Baby” Sangmanee KlongSuanPlu Resort last year.
Despite the setback, Kulabdam is a threat to any man at the top of the division – including Nong-O – because of his immense heart and power.
#3 Alaverdi ‘Babyface Killer’ Ramazanov
Alaverdi “Babyface Killer” Ramazanov might be the former ONE Bantamweight Kickboxing World Champion, but he’s also a viable threat in Muay Thai.
Ramazanov started his ONE Super Series career with an impressive win over ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Champion Petchmorakot Petchyindee Academy before beating Zhang Chenglong for the kickboxing gold.
Due to his unorthodox style, “Babyface Killer” would keep Nong-O on his toes if the two strikers go head-to-head.
