3 Reasons To Be Excited About Victoria Lee’s Debut At ONE: FISTS OF FURY

Last year, Victoria “The Prodigy” Lee became the newest member of her famous family to sign with ONE Championship, and fans have been waiting for her debut ever since.

Now, that wait is over.

The 16-year-old phenom will aim to back up the hype in a mixed martial arts fight against Sunisa “Thunderstorm” Srisen at ONE: FIST OF FURY, on Friday, 26 February.

Before the two-time Pankration World Champion enters the Circle at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, we look at three reasons why fans should be excited to see her in The Home Of Martial Arts.

#1 She Has Two World Champion Siblings

Victoria’s brother and sister are none other than ONE Lightweight World Champion Christian “The Warrior” Lee and ONE Women’s Atomweight World Champion “Unstoppable” Angela Lee.

This means Victoria has spent her young career training with elite athletes who undoubtedly push their younger sister past her limits while reinforcing a champion’s mindset.

The only question is whether or not that mentality will create a third ONE World Champion in the Lee family.

Her debut will give us a great indication.

#2 She’s A Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Wizard

Lee is not only the younger sister to a pair of ONE World Champions – she’s also a 15-time NAGA Expert Champion.

Despite that incredible pedigree, fans should expect Lee’s ground skills to continue growing, given that she’s training with her brother-in-law, Bruno “Puccibull” Pucci, himself a two-time Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu No-Gi World Champion.

“The Prodigy” will most definitely put her ground skills on display when she faces the Thai striker on 26 February.

#3She’s Already Competed Internationally

Many 16-year-olds have never experienced life – let alone competition – outside of their immediate surroundings, but Lee has achieved great success far from home.

In 2019, she went to Rome, Italy, where she won gold in the 57-kilogram division at the IMMAF Youth World Championships.

Sure, competing for ONE Championship is still a nerve-racking endeavor, but having an experience like her time in Rome should help Lee overcome the debut jitters at ONE: FISTS OF FURY.

Before watching Lee’s big night on the global stage, catch all the action from ONE: UNBREAKABLE III, a previously recorded event that airs this Friday, 5 February, on meWATCH at 8:30 p.m. Singapore Standard Time (SGT).
