More than 480 personal mobility devices impounded this year: LTA
More than 480 personal mobility devices (PMDs) were impounded by the Land Transport Authority (LTA) when its officers conducted over 2,400 enforcement operations this year.
Of the PMDs impounded, 15 were seized in a recent enforcement blitz along Loyang Drive, LTA said in a Facebook post on Tuesday (19 December).
LTA said its officers will continue to conduct enforcement operations and take firm action against any PMD rider found breaking the law.
“Riding your PMDs on the roads is illegal, and such reckless behaviour endangers both the rider and other road users,” LTA said.
