'Bake Off' semi-final and 'DIY SOS': The 5 best things on TV tonight, Tuesday 16 November

The Great British Bake Off hurtles towards the final on Channel 4 as the bakers battle through the semi-final for a chance at winning this year's prize.

It's an emotional episode of DIY SOS at BBC One, where Rhod Gilbert guest presents a very special Children In Need funded project.

BBC Two is looking at how to tackle climate change in documentary The People v Climate Change, which follows the UK's first citizens' assembly on the issue.

Miriam Margolyes and Alan Cumming are teaming up in a campervan for a trip north of the border in Channel 4's Miriam and Alan: Lost In Scotland.

And E4's warring couples get a final chance to air their grievances in the last episode of the series of Married At First Sight Australia.

All of a sudden, the Bake Off final is just around the corner and tonight will see the bakers' final push to get into the last episode.

With four incredibly strong contestants still left in the competition, it'll be tough to see any of them go - but tonight we'll find out who the 2021 finalists will be.

It's a special episode of the show this week, with comedian Rhod Gilbert guest presenting.

He'll meet a team of volunteers who are transforming an overgrown patch of land into a purpose-built campsite for a Yorkshire youth project which is funded by Children In Need.

With the promises made at Cop26 fresh in the public's minds, this documentary follows the UK's first ever Citizen's Assembly on Climate Change.

It sees 108 members of the public put their heads together to decided what measures we should all take to tackle environmental issues.

Miriam Margolyes and Alan Cumming are taking a motorhome holiday tonight to discover their Scottish roots.

The actors will visit the places their families used to live, take in the beautiful scenery, and of course there'll be much hilarity along the way.

It's finally the series end of the dating show that has seen more arguments and scandals than ever before, and tonight certainly won't end on a calmer note.
